Our Use of Artificial Intelligence

Standard Ledger uses artificial intelligence tools to support the delivery of tax agent services. The Tax Practitioners Board has confirmed that existing obligations under the Code of Professional Conduct apply equally when AI is used in this context.

Where AI tools process client information, we obtain client consent when we engage, and we only use AI tools from providers whose commercial terms expressly prohibit the use of client data for model training, and which hold recognised security certifications including SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. Professional judgement, accountability, and sign-off on all advice remains with our registered team – not the technology.

For a full explanation of how we use AI and how your data is protected, see our AI page
